Questions About Facials, 2B Liquid Microneedling, and Skin Cove

Start here if you are comparing treatments, wondering what your skin is ready for, or looking for a compliant explanation of Skin Cove’s esthetic services.

What is a Skin Strategy Session?

A Skin Strategy Session is the best starting point if you are not sure what to book. Heather reviews your skin goals, current routine, sensitivity, barrier needs, and treatment options so you can choose the right next step with confidence.

What is 2B Bio Beauty Liquid Microneedling?

2B Bio Beauty Liquid Microneedling is a professional cosmetic spicule resurfacing treatment designed to support smoother-looking texture, brighter-looking tone, refined-looking pores, post-blemish mark appearance, and a refreshed glow. Heather will determine whether it is the right fit based on your skin, goals, current routine, and contraindications. Results vary.

Is 2B Bio Beauty Liquid Microneedling the same as traditional microneedling?

No. Skin Cove’s 2B Bio Beauty Liquid Microneedling is a cosmetic spicule-based facial. It is not SkinPen, RF microneedling, PRP, injections, collagen induction therapy, or a medical procedure.

Is Skin Cove a medspa?

No. Skin Cove is a licensed-esthetician-led skincare studio, not a medspa or medical clinic. Skin Cove does not provide injectables, lasers, diagnosis, prescription care, or medical procedures.

Can I start with Skin Cove if I am medspa-curious?

Yes. Many clients start with esthetician-led skin strategy before, between, or instead of medical-aesthetic services. Heather can support the look and feel of your skin through cosmetic treatments, homecare guidance, and realistic planning.

Can you help with acne-prone skin?

Skin Cove supports acne-prone skin through professional esthetic treatments, homecare guidance, barrier support, and consistency. Heather does not diagnose acne or provide medical acne care. If your skin requires medical care, you may be referred to a qualified healthcare professional.

What if my skin is too sensitive for an active treatment?

If your skin barrier needs support first, Heather may recommend a gentler, barrier-supportive facial or homecare plan before more active skin-renewal treatments. Your treatment plan will be customized based on what your skin is ready for.

Do you offer pregnancy-conscious facials?

Skin Cove offers pregnancy-conscious esthetic care when appropriate, with thoughtful product selection and contraindication review. Clients with pregnancy-related medical concerns should consult a qualified healthcare professional before booking.

What does it mean to be an Oncology Certified Esthetician?

An Oncology Certified Esthetician has completed specialized esthetic training to provide gentle, customized skincare services for clients with oncology-related considerations. Skin Cove’s services are cosmetic/aesthetic in nature and are not oncology medical care or a substitute for medical treatment. Some clients may need clearance from a qualified healthcare professional before receiving services.
